Unstable Concoction
!! There are some issues with the HUD scaling in the web version!! You might need to resize your browser zoom to make it line up better.
How to Play
- Use WASD to move and hold Click to aim and throw potions
- Potions will detonate after 5 seconds! Pick up ingredients to empower your potions and kill enemies
- Order matters! Ingredients will proc in the order they were picked up. For example, if you pick up a Bubble (increase size of next ingredients) then a Poison Shroom (large poison field), you can create a gigantic poison that coves the map!
Tips
- Don't throw potions too early! Since they take ~5 seconds to explode anyway, you should grab a few more ingredients to let them cook more first.
- Target ranged enemies first! These guys are hard to dodge and easy to hit.
- Think about your positioning carefully. If you get pushed to a wall, you'll have less options for dodging enemies or bullets.
Ingredients
- Blast Leaf - Creates an explosion
- Poison Shroom - Leaves a large damage over time field
- Shock Reed - Does a small, but powerful blast
- Ice Cube - Freezes enemies
- Burst Bubble - Buffs range for ALL remaining ingredients in a potion
- Potent Oil - Buffs damage for ALL remaining ingredients in a potion
- Heal Leaf - Changes potion from doing damage to healing
- Death Bean - If a damaging potion effect kills an enemy, starts a chain reaction and spawns another hit box!

Wow!!!!!!!! AMAZING
The graphics are insanely good, did you use pixel perfect rendering? Don't mind my curious brain asking, i love the concept and the gameplay loop is flawless.
I have some trouble to remember which potion does what but that may be just me! Great job to the whole team
Thank you!! We used pixel perfect to help stylize the game it worked really well for the game jam context.
There's a guide for which ingredients do what in the pause menu! It's a bit tucked away
